It pains me to make a thread like this, but where is the loot? (srs)

I'm th 10 and just started three camps at 6.75 million elixir each. Plus two teslas at 2 million each. That was farming in gold two. Part of being good at this game is being able to find loot and upgrade stuff. If it was easy to find, what would be the point of that part of the game? Why not just give us max everything and stop wasting time? Supercell is not the government! You have to actually work to steal your loot, it's not just handed to you.

"Find loot"? Tell us exactly how you do this? Last time I checked we all press next to find suitable bases to attack. Most if us hit next 40, 50, 60 times to finally accept 150k because that's all we can find.

After no loot for 4 weeks, I've been finding 200k+ at TH9 in 1600-1700 over the last 5 days.

I was finding absolutely zero loot until the last maintenance, since then it's been great. I'm focusing on elixir right now, reason why it doesn't show me going for gold in some raids here.

Well he was using giant/healer, so I doubt he was glued to his screen thinking about per hour rates. Loot is not as good as it used to be, we get it.

I have not had a collector raid in over a week, honestly, now I know thats a free easy base to raid but its nice to have one every once and awhile to boost me up to compensate for the crappy loot since December...

Loot is horrible compared to what it was before SC messed it all up back in December of last year, period it's a fact.

I'm not exactly doubting you guys, but I don't understand how I can find so many collector bases and you can find so few. Its weird, right? I'm always in gold II, usually 1500-1700, and I find them almost every time I raid. Sure, it takes some nexting. I don't understand how it is possible for other's experiences to be so different.

Different servers, times of day, conspiracy theories? I really don't know anymore. Too be fair there was a stretch earlier today for a few hours where I couldn't find anything good, collector or not (I had mass drags so I was game for anything). I gave up after about 100k of nexting. So it does happen to everyone, but not all the time.

On behalf of all TH9's (and below), loot is not bad at all. While I have a full understanding of the loot system and how loot has no choice but to decline with each base when talking about TH 10, I won't speak for TH10's. As a TH 9 only a couple of weeks from being fully capped on everything besides walls and heroes, I have found excellent, excellent loot in the 1700-2000 range. As a general guideline I almost never raid anybody with less than 200k gold UNLESS they offer an abundance of reachable DE. I use a modified barch with giants and some gobs to help storage raid when necessary. Also, I almost never have to search for long.

As great as it all sounds so far, there are a couple of things that really bother me!

1. ~90% of my targets are inactives, all TH8-10. THIS isn't right to me!! The game shouldn't be played that the best way to get loot without gems is to feed off of people that haven't played! Where's the fun in that? I only do it because it is sadly my most efficient way of farming. I really wish there was a change (I won't go into details on a solution to this but there are possibilities)

2. I'm afraid to go to TH 10 for loot reasons. I'm aware that loot is worse there and many of my current targets are TH 8's, all of which close to useless to raid at TH 10 with the 50% penalty.

3. I have learned the times of day and days of the week when loot is solid. Fortunately I have an odd schedule so I'm usually busy when loot is more competitive and I'm session raiding during the better times of the day and week. When I try to session raid on the weekends and during early afternoon/evenings, which isn't often, loot becomes MUCH harder to find. I can easily see how anybody who's normal raiding times are during these more competitive times would hate hate hate trying to find loot!

If you think I'm still crazy for thinking that loot is good you either didn't read my entire post or you are doing something wrong Again I do agree that changes should be made. Loot available from actives should be buffed (whatever buff this is the defender shouldn't lose that extra loot. I'm not suggesting league loot bonus improvements necessarily, but I can go into details if you want).
