And since the troops can be released, they have even more reason to spam giants and stuff to war CC for the numbers without fear of much penalty and rendering the number itself with no value.
I like the way it is now, where the only incentive is for the strong players to give good troops for the collective benefit of the clan
I really think coding something that subtracts the number of troops you remove from your war clan castle from the total donations statistics of the donator of the crappy troops wouldn't be all that hard.

Clan wars donations definitely could use some attention.

I could see an achievement coming out of the addition of clan wars donation tracking as well.

Where was it ruled out? link or it didn't happen... also the same thing I said to benson... why can't the crappy soldiers that you delete from your cc be subtracted from the statistic of donated troops (maybe even with a penalty)?

First, you are flawed in your logic or lack thereof. Just because a portion of someones idea is bad doesn't mean it is entirely a bad idea. Secondly, implementing some sort of tracking for clan war donations will allow leaders of clans to track WHO is donating bad troops to clan war castles and remove the offender from the clan. Some people only log in on war days, go on vacation, or have things in real life that come up that makes it so they can not make it to their clan castles to delete troops. Real life happens, and when they get back to the game, they the find out they were stacked with 4-5 giants on defense. So while deleting troops is a good idea, it is not the only idea that need be approached. Because there can be a statistic that resets after every war, doesn't mean every low level player will rush to push those numbers. Rather than repeatedly dealing with the same offenders, I would rather handle the situation right away. You are assuming every clan is like the wild west where there is no order and people are just shooting a load at your face every chance they get.

I've seen this idea before, and I agree. There should be some sort of recognition for troops donated in war

Agree.... need a count so we don't kick players with artificially low donations .... even In war stats tab?

Isn't it enough that those (good troops hopefully) you donated help defend your clanmates bases?
and anyone not donating in the clan, isnt gonna donate in clan wars!

I'm not against a statistic showing the number of troops donated for each war. But any kind of achievement or reward beyond your clan saying well done would be too easy to abuse and pointless.

    I agree.

War castle defence troops is a huge contribution if it comes down to very few selective players, there should be some sort of reward for this

But I don't think, this is going to encourage players to donate in war castle. We already have Friend in need achievement and yet many people ignore it completely.
