"Right now the challenge is at master and champions, everyone is strong or have skill (minus sniper which are so little"

Was not explaining why... just for the record.

What you then replied with, indeed was a constructive "why".

    Here's the trouble.

People play this game and enjoy different aspects of it. Let me highlight two extremes:

    1) The hardcore farmer

This person likes to attack premie or abandoned bases to try to extract as much resources from them as quickly and efficiently as possible. Their goal is to upgrade their base, walls, and troops as quickly as possible.

    2) the hardcore trophy pusher

This person is concerned less about gaining loot, and care most about upgrading their offense more than anything. They want to push the limits, try to keep their trophies as high as possible, attacking the hardest bases they can possibly take and eventually push to masters, champions, and maybe even have the highest trophies in their country or in the world.

Now these two extremes go about raiding bases in very different ways. For simiplicity sake, #1 goes for lower trophies, and #2 goes for higher trophies. As you can see, the player is able to manipulate their own trophy count in order to encounter the types of bases they wish to raid.

If what you propose is put into action, Supercell is going to ♥♥♥♥ off either #1, #2, or both types of players.

They will lost a lot of customers if they do this. Financially, they are better off with the current matchmaking system and I think they're doing it right already.

    That could work better
But not better that the already use matchmaking
I feel that the same problem could happen, people would found a way to abuse this (more than farmer do now)

I do see this point. There are many people that play the game like farmville and don't ever truly want to challenge themselves in a test of might, but rather pillage much weaker for their loot.

That type of player exists in great quantities and removing their "game" would force them to do what they don't want to do. or maybe more likely, they'd quit.

These people however are a large part of the business model obviously. So very fair point.

Oh, you meant the why the challenge is at masters and champions?
Everyone there have skills, almost no one there is for the loot, people who try are maxed or try the real challenge

People will always abuse whatever system.

It's sad that the system fosters finding unfair advantages as your key to success, instead of true challenge.

As the other poster mentioned though, there is a reality that "farmers" are a large part of the ecosystem and if they were forced to challenge themselves, the game might not be appealing to them at all.

It's a shame from my perspective, but I do understand it.

Yeah, the one right now it is the less abused

Why? farmer find challenge in getting the most loot and get the most upgrades
SC made the loot penalty so they can not get as much from lower TH levels and at the same time so you can upgrade your TH without being impossible
It works pretty well so far

The only problem is for a high level it would make farming near impossible to basically attack bases their strength every time. For clan wars, people spend a lot more than 30 seconds looking at the opponents bases.

That's not the case for all farmers. You're basically calling farmers weak because they choose to loot weaker players sometimes to upgrade their villages faster. They do that so that they can begin to put their skills to the test. I feel that isn't fair to say that farmers are people who don't test their might. We get our gold and elixir the way that the game intended. By stealing it from others. I don't trophy push because I am more concerned with getting my village right. Not saying you directed anything at me, but it looks like a slam is being put against farmers. And watch when it come to war, you see a farmer's might. They have the troops and space to build an amazing army because they take the time to max everything. As far as town hall snipers, they are usually the players who take an "easy route" through the ranks. Not even always having to push through a base's defenses like a farmer who is pushing through just to get someone's loot.

What's with your problem with farmers?

I have raided 500M gold, 1M dark, and maxed TH9 defenses and Lab but still not all L8 walls.
Higher level upgrades cost enormous amounts of loot.

I can promise you that gold doesn't come from attacking all 'weak' bases or people who have become inactive.

If the game was changed in this way there'd still have to be decent loot available. I don't mind being matched with even bases, but they take a strong army and several spells to beat and there'd need to be some sort of return for that.

It's already stupid that a TH7 with cheap upgrades can make gold faster and easier than a TH10, making it so that a TH10 can only raid other TH10s would be insane.
