Clan hoppers! Can we have a number of strikes against them

Clan hoppers are ultimately contrary to the clan aim of the game. How about enabling a clan leader or coleader to put a strike against someone that joins takes troops then leaves. If a player gets 3 strikes from different villages, then cannot request to join another clan for a week? Maybe make this information available to players before they accept a player into a clan?

    Seems like a good idea!

Some clans have internal blacklists, and use for example MessageMe to coordinate. If instead each player had a unique player-id, it could be possible to have a "clan blacklist" with weekly, monthly or eternal blacklisting.

This solution would let the clan leadership handle profound language, troop shopping etc.

As a supplement, co-leaders and leaders could have a "clan player management" module?

Hmm i see a way this could be abused, if someone leaves and doesnt say, and they were coming back but they were just visiting a friend then they wouldnt know whether they were leaving for good and to give him a strike or not, but personally i hate hoppers so i like this idea

I think its a bad idea.

What if ppl arent leaving because theyre hoppers, but because the clans they join arent all that great?

I see many clans that say theyre active and great donators but fall very far from my standards.
I would be upset if i had strikes against me because ppl took offense that they have a crappy clan.

    Hi Ryanhood

Fair point Well made. But as the quarantine only relates to the one single clan imposing the ban, you could imagine, that you wouldn't have a interest in returning to that specific clan again. This while the clan wasn't that great anyway?

So as i se the surgession, it only relates to a single clan - not the whole Clash of Clans.

I can remember some players, donating nothing or trying to get members to join other clans etc. A longer ban imposed by clan leadership and within the leaderships own clan should be possible. Don't you think?

    Best regards

Also what if the clan isnt very active? i like active clans, like one of my old clans only spoke once an hour and im quite chatty so that is another way it could be abused, the ppl there might get the wrong idea!

    Sry man but no

Honestly, there will always be hoppers so whats the point and I can see this being abused, and oh yeah let me parallel this to real life, there will always be drug addicts in the world, no matter how hard you try. Same with hoppers so instead of us worrying about a problem like this let's fix maybe not the hopper problem but the clan problem that clans aren't as good. I am coleader in my clan and let me tell you when people join us they are like wow how you guys so active and I ask them aren't other clans like this to and they usually so no they aren't so just saying i don't think what you doing bad fighting hoppers but the real problem is in the clans too many of them and too many inactive that's the problem and not hoppers.

I agree....clan leaders and co leaders should have a way to evaluate a perspective new members history before inviting them to join your clan. I'd like it shown in 3 ways, how many clans person as been in, how many clans person has quit, how many clans person has been kicked out of.
