Now removing those sleeping/new and those weknow about the following have failed to meet the required donations of 200 perweek.

    Bloodelfhans 188
    Bob Fossil 173
    Dabo 90
    Bostrich 65

The Guardian recommendation is therefore that thefollowing are fed to fluffy: Bostrich, Dabo for failing miserably.

Bloodelfhans was just under so the recommendationis that he be requested to move to Riverbears.

It is recommended that Bob Fossil, as a longstanding member of the bear clans and an elder, be requested to join one of theless active bear family clans until activity increases to cavebear requirements.

Sorry to disturb you guys but I would like to report a little mistake.

I donated over 500 troops over the past week. I don't understand why it says 188 in your statistics. I think you can ask around and people will tell that I have been donating actively. May I please rejoin cavebears?

Also I just got level 5 archers...

EDIT: Can't show a screenshot too prove it, statistics have been removed already...

    Smile donating dragons

    Hello,

Our rules currently say that we donate archers (or barbs) by default and anything else only after we
have clarified with the requestor that the other troops are "okay"
(... or somebody had asked for certain troops, then it is evident)

I observe that many cavebears have dragons in their portfolio and they are occasionally willing to donate them
and so far I have no indications that anyone would have prefered archers instead of a dragon.
People tend to like dragons in their CC . Practically I see quite a few of them flying between our camps every hour.

    "problem statement":
It requires time to ask the question and answer it (and in 95% you get a YES anyway).
That is wasted time and often by the time the process is finished someone else has donated a
few archers and there is no room left for a dragon. The potential recipient is sad.

I hereby formally request (dead handīs policy applies) that dragons are allowed as donations without
need for prior communication with the requestor.

    Free the dragons!

so what about archers (and barbs) then?:
I understand that some people canīt make dragons (yet) and some can not hold them in their clan castle (yet).
That is not a problem per se (I see it rather as a goal). I think we all understand that and we had all been in that situation.
Getting and giving lvl3 archers is also still okay - really!
Also people are still encouraged to fill their clanmates castle swiftly (also when it only holds 10 or 15 spaces), which does
require having some archers in store.
(Does everybody know that you can already queue-up archers before you leave for a raid... they will be ready when you return)

I have no objection to adding dragons as an always-welcome donation. As I have had the embarrassing experience of dropping in archers when a dragon request was afoot, I agree that your proposal would solve this problem and prevent me from making similar cloddish behavior in the future.

    or would it?

If our clan can still donate archers, a speedy finger can always intrude and prevent a dragon from entering. The only way I see this working is to employ a simple you-take-your-chances approach. Someone requests troops, and then takes whatever the clan's nimble fingers give. Maybe it's a dragon, maybe not. Lower-level players who can't yet cook dragons can step up to the donation plate whenever they want. If they are edged out by a faster finger - well, that's viking life, not a deck stacked against them.

If we permit dragon donations without stopping the dragon begging, we do not solve the problem of sadness but potentially introduce the problem of resenting archer donations - with unknown social consequences.
