How can i use a different Apple account, but keep my CoC progress?

Hey guys,

I have a bit of a problem here. When I first got my iPod, my dad set up an Apple account with all of his details in it (ie. email address). Now that im older, and have moved out of home, having to use his account is becoming quite annoying, and indeed has become quite the problem.

The point of what I'm asking is if there is any way that my progress with Clash of Clans can be moved over onto a new Apple ID account? I have done a lot of searching for answers but have only come up with solutions involving me having to say no to loading up a new save.

Or, is there a way i can change the account details for my Apple ID and still keep all my saves, apps, photos, and music on my iPod.

I think that you can just sign into a new GC account, then open CoC but keep playing on your current base, then it should connect. I could be wrong, when I started CoC I used my parent's apple ID but didn't have GC signed in, and when I got my new laptop I got my own ID and I hooked my account up to that.

I'm pretty sure COC is just linked to Game Centre, so you can log onto whichever Apple ID you want, you will just need to log into Game Centre on it, and if there is a saved base there already it will ask if you want to replace it with the one on the GC account.
