You can play for 6hrs straight before getting kicked off. I doubt you sat there for 6h+ tapping revenge

Its most likely that they simply aren't closing the game and just minimising it combined with them playing it all the time. This game does get the permission from your phone to prevent it sleeping, probably so it can do more data-mining for Super Cell. If you're the kinda addict who has a look every half-hour then could possibly keep your village active the whole time.
It is pretty easy to set an android emulator to run this game constantly and reload it when you get kicked off. However if anyone is foolish enough to do so, as the above post suggests you should pity them. The cost of leaving a pc running 24/7 to do this is greater than recouping looses from being raided with gems anyways.
Who cares about revenge in a computer game anyways, press attack and meet new exciting people of all nations and races and pillage their village.
