I agree with those who prefer the new loot system. Cracking 4 storages off a TH9 or TH10 for 198K gold was an absurdly awful incentive for wrecking an advanced base - the previous system was heavily skewed towards collectors and low TH's smashing up on premmies for the loot bonus.
Most of the complaints about the "new loot system" are basically just code words for "I can't find exposed collectors with my goblins" and have nothing to do with the math involved in calculating available loot from storages.
Wait I recently came back after quitting for a year. I thought this was still the system, someone mind explaining what the new one is to me?

Even if I wanted to go back to DTP I couldnt now that my base isnt even th 4 yet xD. Im currently helping a clan but after that Im thinking of making my own clan just to be carefree and not get addicted again.

Loot now is actually quite good, as i next 10 times and get a fairly good loot amount.
The last thing i want to do is hurt you. its still on the list though.
They removed the bonus for attacking higher town halls and increased the ammount you can loot from storages of higher townhall. http://clashofclans.wikia.com/wiki/Raids
Basically increased the take on raids for th9-10 and removed the extra losses those ths suffered from having their collectors raided by lower ths.
