It's ghosting a new tactic?

I see many people complaining about this activity. I haven't seen a Super Cell representative say this activity is a violation of their rules. Perhaps it's an unintended consequence of their intentions but the company doesn't object to it.

The developers have had time to enact a change of it was an issue. They could even put in a reporting process where someone can submit a name along with some other identifier and they can review their logs. Yet nothing like this has been done.

I think the inaction of Super Cell is a tacit approval of this tactic. Unless I missed something.

Ghosting is something some people choose to use, but I wouldn't think of it as a tactic rather than an unfair advantage that is "offered" to all, but the ones who want to play the game more fairly will not use it.

Ghosting is a dirty tactic, and I don't like it at all. Anyone who does it deserves to be kicked from their clan.

How do you know "they" are addressing this as an objectionable activity. I haven't seen any evidence of it. The most I have seen from Super Cell is they know people are complaining but the feature is working as intended. The problem was to address customers who were getting disconnected during attacks. There are no violations of any EULA that I have seen. No announced repercussions to anyone caught doing this.

Is a TH7 attacking a TH5 a dirty tactic? I think so but it's a quite common action. I don't condone it not partake in it but it is generally accepted.

Supercell has labeled it as a che@t and are fixing it. This was all in a thread they had to delete because certain players reminded them that by talking about it they were breaking their own rules.

Supercell is fixing it. Are you trying to get us to tell you that Supercell wants you to ghost? Game exploits are definitely against Supercell's mission. They want everyone in the game to have a fair chance by using fair tactics. So although ghosting is still possible, Supercell is certainly not promoting it. Just don't ghost. It's that simple.

Can anyone provide a link where a Super Cell representative says this is a violation of their policy? Is there some punitive action against this tactic?

I haven't seen anything of the sort.

I know I have seen the tactic used against my clan in wars but we refuse to employ the tactic and work at a disadvantage.

I'm just looking for something official from Super Cell but haven't found it yet. All any one here has is hearsay and frustration.

the advantage from ghosting is minimal really if you're a half decent player

its just over hyped by people who take the game way too seriously
