:: Regarding to Recognition for older players

Hello, everyone! I am the type of person that does not post anything on the internet, haha.

First of all I would like to praise Supercell for being such a wonderful developer

I started playing Clash of clans since January, 2013. Even to this day, I indulge Clash of Clans. I cherish Supercell deeply for their generosity, as there are tad amount of developers that actually gives out as much gems to their players as Supercell. Despite from receiving all those posts from all those ignorant, selfish people on facebook page, Supercell still maintained humble and listen to those heartless desires. The greatest exemplar is the 1 gem boost request. Ever since Supercell started the one gem boost, people had been constantly demanding for it. And of course, they sound like they would explode if they don't get it soon...

Anyways, I should begin writing my request.
As I mentioned, I played clash of clan for a decent amount of of time already. Presently, I am only lv87 and a lot of players that played the game for a shorter time outpaced my Townhall and upgrades due to playing and purchasing gems more rigorously than I did. Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate what they do and would like them to buy even more gems. However, I desired for recognition for playing such a long time, as more often then not, these people which surpassed me treats me as I am new to the game and of course I do feel depressed.

You may not be convinced by the fact that these people played the game shorter time than I did. Yet, it could be proved with several evidences. If I remembered correctly, obstacles grows after 8 hours and this means that the amount of obstacle cleared is restricted to the amount of time they played. In addition to that, when I joined the game, names with languages such as Chinese and Japanese were not supported as well.

The recognition I requested does not need to be significant. It could simply be a badge or even a completed mission of playing a year or something. Hopefully, a lot of older clashers had been desiring for this haha. Out of everyone I know of in the community of clash of clans, I could only relate myself to Simon Tay, as he played longer than me but still in Townhall 8 just like me xD

I think how long you've played is absolutely meaningless.

TH8 is TH8, doesn't matter how long you play.

If you started one year ago but are still TH8, perhaps you didn't actually "played" the game that long? So you are just asking to be regconized for the fact that you started the game earlier, which means squat tbh.

Well i think what hes getting at is the fact that there really isn't ANY point to be high level (other then as a requirement to gain entry to some clans) I think that there should maybe be another statue or a flag that unlocks at level 100 150 etc...

I like the idea! I dont know how everyone can hate on this if the outcome of this is to get a badge symbolizing one year on the game next to your name.

So a player can install the game today, play a bit, leave his village for one year, and come back to the game with a fancy badge next to his name? And we are supposed to take that badge as a sign of.....?

The date of starting means absolutely nothing, it is the skill and character that matter. Nice and Tidy tells enough about your starting date to anyone who cares. Believe me, starting date doesn't matter (my is November 2012 so this is not about that)

We are basically the same, been playing since early 2013 and I'm only level 85. But the game is still fun seeing that I surpassed many people. I have spent only 35$ most of which has gone to my 5 builders.
