The Defuser only goes for traps to defuse them! It takes them 8 secs to defuse and takes faster at their max lvl 4 which is 5 secs. After all bombs/traps are defused they go for other buildings!

*sigh* you do know you can send in a troop that (like an archer) to set off traps and is much cheaper.
