These days I often find myself foruming and clashing at the same time. I run a Forum- Exclusive clan, so when I'm talking to my clan-mates in game I'm often talking to them about the forums or I'm talking to them on the forums as well as in- game.
Earlier today I was helping one of my members out on the forums, while at the same time talking to him real- time in game. I felt torn, because I had work to do on the forums, and at the same time didn't want to miss out on what was happening in my clan. I couldn't look at my iPod screen the entire time, otherwise I'd get no work done on the forums.
To relieve this stress, I suggest implementing a simple, toggleable sound- notification when a new message comes up in the clan chat. This way you can do other things, while not missing out on anything that's going on in your clan!
Perhaps to go into this deeper, a more complex version of this idea is:
Being able to select members in the chat whose messages trigger sound notifications. You can tap on their username and select 'Notify'. If you want to 'un-subscribe' from a certain member (Stop having their messages trigger sound notifications) you tap on their username again and tap 'De-notify'. This feature would help to keep track of the messages that you deem important, while not notifying you of members you chose not to 'subscribe' to.
Before saying this is too much of a minor thing, think of all the other minor things supercell has put into the game. Re-arm all traps, drag and drop walls, etc. In the end, the little things are a big part of what makes the game great.
