shorter building times and more resources would help keep people on the game, since a lot of people don't have the patience to wait, and we don't get to collect a lot of resources to get the expensive items for months if we are lucky, plus some of us are poor and can't pay to get resources or gems
Well, if you can't wait for upgrades to finish, just deal with. The reason why SC lengthen the upgrade times is that, they don't like players being obsessed to much playing COC ending up to times, never going out of your room and doing nothing except for playing COC. And I'm pretty sure you don't want to get the personal break that SC gives to you. That's why COC is considered to be a strategy game...
