I like the idea of having a separate war base so i do not have to keep shuffling things around at the start of battle day.
What is going to be awkward is when i make major changes to my non-war base, then want to implement those changes in the war base. At present, it seems that i will have to manually rearrange the war base totally. This is just tedious and time-wasting.
Could I suggest that on the edit war base screen, there be an option to copy the non-war base? This would be a quick way to update the war base to reflect current buildings and defence structures.

This could be time-wasting in some aspects but the separate war base is great. I mean if you're farming now, but in the war, you want it to be a better base. Like trophy base. But you want them separately. Farming for non-war, and Trophy for war. I mean I'm not saying your idea is nonsensical but it would be in complications and problems in under any circumstances.
Yes, definitely not complaining about separate war base. But thinking of when th upgrade finishes, and you get a whole lot of new buildings to fit in, and will probably do major changes to base layout.
it would be nice to do it once, then replicate to the war base to modify for that use. At present, you have to lay it all out twice.
If you are farming then no this probably wouldn't be a good suggestion, but if you are doing a trophy push then maybe. Either way I love this new war base update, so I can actually have a farming and trophy base if I want.
I have just spent 90 mins rearranging my main base after th9 upgrade. Now i have to do the same for war base, to take account of new buildings. Yes, my war base could look different to my main base, but it could also look very similar, with just a few changes. And especially useful when trophy push as domeone said.
