    Different Classed Walls

    Ok, I have thought about this for a while and when I found the forums I had to say something.

    I believe there should be different sorts of walls. One type you use gold, where you get some sort of military, heavy - duty type walls, like the lvl 4 walls. And the other you use elixr and you get walls like crystalized, organic walls. Like lvl 6 and 7. You should get the choice of which type of wall path you want to go at the start. Cause when you think about it, it is weird going from solid gold to crystals, then back to a similar metal material.

    Obviously I don't think this will happen because it has been single file for a while but I just had to post it. It has been in my head for a while.

    Its a bad idea if u use exlxir for walls its gonna be.so hard so its still better now u upgrade it with gold

    But I reckon that when the player starts off, they get the choice as to which wall branch they would like. Spend exactly same amount of elixr as you would gold. You spend gold on most things anyway. Why not save some and spend elixr instead?

    Interesting concept, but the problem is the balance of gold vs elexer use. Right now, I generally loot more gold than elixer. If I never had to use gold on my walls, I would have maxed defenses long ago. And it would be even more difficult to raid as my elixer use goes up. Its already bad enough when they switched spells from gold to elexer!!!

    That was horrible to adapt to!

    Then I'd be here complaining that i never have enough elexer. Plus it just seems complicated. Not sure how easy it'd be to follow. Could be interesting...

    Different upgrade paths is definitely an interesting idea. Thing is, there'd have to be some way to go back and start on the other path instead, if you want to have a different wall type. Maybe be able to convert walls to a similar level on a different track for 50k + 10k per level above 5 gold/ elixir. Then have the paths split at lvl 5 walls?

    Both very interesting ideas. But as I said, don't think it will happen cause it has been so used to the way it is already.

    People want wall costs to change cause they are pricey. 3 solutions is
    1. Make half the wall cost gold, the other elixir
    2. Change it completely to elixir.
    3. Do something bout the gold going around like changing the next button to elixir.

    Gold profit won from raids is only subtracted by your nexting cost.

    Elixir profits only after the costs of troops and spells are covered.

    A full 400k gold and elixir raid would net a profit of 400k+ gold (after league bonus) and some 200k to 300 k elixir depending on troops and spells usage.

    It is much harder to accumulate elixir every raid.

    Elixir is used for troop upgrades and offensive structures other than the CC for base development.

    Gold is used for defensive upgrades. Gold is used for WALLS.

    The only reason why gold is in such high demand even if being easier to accumulate than elixir is because it is used to upgrade walls. If elixir is taken into the equation for wall upgrade together with gold, which one would become more valuable?

    So I don't think its a good idea to include elixir in wall upgrades.
