Use the water!

Everyone has noticed the sea lying in the bottom left hand side of their village! But it's useless!
Let's use it! We could build ports and new units: ships! With the ports we could, for example, send and receive resources from clanmates. The ships could be used as battle units who provide fire power to ground units.
Last but not least, you could do something a little like Hay Day. A ship would come and you must fill its cargo with troops, spells, etc... - and get a prize!

I would really like to see you use the sea, and hope I helped you!

Well, the water really is quite far away from the center of the town hall... so why not go ahead and allow (instead of walls) to dig moats? Units would have to swim across 1 tile waterways and would be slowed down, allowing defenses to bombard them. This would be cool to see implemented.

No, they would have to like build a bridge in the time it would take them to break through a wall, swimming would be dumb. Wallbreakers would carry bridges, but, moats could be used as traps, they open underneath the troops and then they all get hurt.

The water did get used...but not for many many centuries as time passed on, and new inventions were being made, and old being improved until, that day one fateful day...

The village had been aged to ruins over time. Blown away by the sands of time. Centuries passed, then new building began to emerge, they called it a headquarters I believe. There were new forms of defenses, machine guns, mechanized dragons. Exploding barrages that only Zeus can send down from the heavens.

Then the metal boats came, they landed ashore, and lay siege to the beach, and razed it asunder!

Oh wait, Supercell turned the water into boom beach.

Sending and reciving resources is ruled out.The boat support thing is exactly like the gunboat.And the ship is from hay day as you said.So nothing is going to be implemented.Sorry
