I think that when you are playing in village edit mode you should be able to...
1: move the entire base in one direction with arrows that can be located at the sides of your screen. This could help when you run out of space on one side of your village.
2: be able to save presets for your village. Any extra buildings you have built since can go where all the buildings normally go. This will help when changing in and out of clan war and normal bases.
Good idea. Although, it was already posted a lot of times. But good point there.

I wouldn't mind #1. #2 is technically going to be solved on the next update by allowing you to have a war village.
