I remember that forum fondly, it was wild and largely un-moderated (I think Sneaky M and possibly Marika modded it) but it was small, we knew each other really quite well.
One of the main topics when I joined in mid Sept 2012 was bringing back SINGLE PLAYER farming
There are a few recruitment posts on there from the original leaders of North 44 - sc.charles and Bonbee Canada KJD which were 2 of the more dominant clans around that time if you are interested.
