Cool idea but this kind of ties in with how people want to upgrade builders/put them on the same building to increase their speed. Something that SC will not consider since they might have indirectly ruled it out.

Yeah! A second laboratory won't help SC gain and raise profit co'z players would prefer upgrading in both laboratories and not to spend gems for instant finish of upgrades. The reason why there's only one lab is for us to manage and think what are we gonna upgrade first. That's why SC considered Clash of Clans a Strategy game.
