Clan Leagues to operate in the same fashion which player leagues do.
Clans ranking by collective Clan action (cups) count
League ends in/resets every 2 (or whatever) weeks.
Winning Clans receive Gems
Gems divided equally among the top 10 (or whatever #) players of the Clan
Clan Leagues resets

well, it is actually.
You changed the topic when Chrissher7 explained to you that this won't happen because it would decrease the purchase of gems (which means less profit for Supercell, they don't want that).
So you suggested gold and elixir instead.
Then I explained why your second suggestion wouldn't work.
Both of your suggestions have been nullified by logical, reasonable arguments.

Yes its a nice idea, i dare to add the following as well:
The idea is good bacause 1) this way the clanmates would have an extra motive to keep the trophies counting, 2) as well it would be fun to everyone and not only to the top clans, because you can be the top clan of your own league. 3) This would make people that like to spend time in the game in different levels, feel as well motivated to continue playing, and not only the top most who live and breathe the game. 4) There are more then 800.000 clans, it makes it difficult for the clan in the 500000 position to compare itself with the top 200 for instance.
