Others have stated many times but somehow someone keeps trying to throw incorrect information into the chain.
CORRECT: Changing the language in game WILL change the language you are presented with for your Global chat.
CORRECT: Changing the language in game WILL NOT change what displays for your 'Local' leader board.
Classic Joke:

How can it sometimes not?
Everyime Ive changed language and go on global they have been speaking the language I changed it to (obviously Norsk is the exception).
For some people like me it just does not! I always find people talking in spanish as that is my local (VE) Changing the game lenguage does nothing but change the lenguage for me, global stays in spanish (yeah, norsk is the exception for me as well)
