    I made the mistake of not upgrading em early and now that I have been struggling to find loot i decided to do it now. I added up the upgrade times and its gonna take me at least a month to max em all out!!!!!!

    Of that list heros, because of the cost/time.


    Sure being down the spell factory is painful but its a short experience.


    But personally I feel the most painful are Archer Towers and trailing close behind are Cannons. Why? There cost to upgrade combined with the time they take to upgrade means they are a huge gold per day investment. Sure my Infernos are 8 mil but they also take 14 days. That means .57 mil (approx) is all I need to refill my storages in the time it takes to complete.

    Compare this against max archer towers at 7.5 mil for 7 days and your talking over 1 mil a day to make that gold back!

    As a later Th10 I haven't had trouble with the long upgrade times because it also means I have more time to raid. I hammered out Wizard towers and inferno upgrades without too much difficulty because of the length of time they actually take to upgrade (not to mention the fact I was doing camp upgrades as well)

    This was why when I was Th9 I'd space out my tesla upgrades to take the strain off of raiding.

    Then to top it all off Archer Towers and Cannons are also the least cost effective building in your defensive arsenal to upgrade. Compared to x-bows, infernos, Air defenses, and wizard towers, these defensive structures have a much more minor impact on the turnout of a battle. Sure every little bit helps, but they aren't cost effective.

    Honestly I'm surprised anyone chose "mines, pumps, drills". I wonder if they rely on those that much that it makes a huge dent in their normal resource gain

    I've been upgrading my heroes non-stop since lvl 18 and it's really painful, in CW I need to be really really careful what base I attack to get a star. Now both my heroes going lvl 26 so it's been more than 56 days that I'm playing without heroes. Try that for painful
