    Online or offline indicators

This is a pretty simple idea. I was thinking that next to someones name would be either a little red dot or a little green dot. This indicator would show whether or not that account user was online. The indicator would be next to the users name in the clan chat, on the clan profile, on the leaderboards, and in their profile. What do you guys think?

Its a good simple idea, however, Supercell have ruled this out as it is a privacy issue. Ruled out ideas found here: http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...rum-guidelines

Well, I just thought of this a little earlier and I think this is a brilliant idea. However, this concept violates privacy conditions. And this might result to problems and misunderstandings between players. Why? If other players can see if their co-clan member is offline, they might talk about something rude about that player. That was just one problem, don't make things worse. Moving on, there are also limitations in chat and communication in Clash of Clans. That's why it is not necessary and it should not be implemented because it makes no such sense.

Well, if you able to visit your clan member town or other clans (member clan, even enemy clan), a bit diligent to see the gold mine and elexir extractor you would be able to tell the member online or not (if the gold mine and elexir extractor not been crush by enemy attack).

Even if the town cruched by enemy attack you would know they offline cause that attack happen when the person offline.

There indicator to tell a person online and offline or active and not active in coc finds them.

Its not a privacy violation if you allow users to agree to Terms and Conditions same as every other game and make it so only friends and clan can see
it, prevents people from lurking and hiding from confrontation when they ♥♥♥♥ up and need delt with if its really an issue like that allow them to disable the feature or hide so that everyone else can use this feature to better associate with our clans

Facebook allows you to alter your privacy settings in chat so you can choose to hide yourself even if you are online, or show yourself online if you decide you want people to know you're there.

If it's a choice it's not encroaching on breaching your privacy rights. You can guesstimate if someone is online by checking their elixir pumps and gold mines, so what's the difference?
