The Clan War donations do not seem to count towards the overall clan donations. I think this is a necessary tweak, because people who invest heavily in this area are not getting the just recognition. Who is with me!?

I agree because I am one of the people who donates to evrybody during the clan war prep but in the end I can't see how much i really am donating in one season. All you really need to to is just tell us how much we donate in the war prep compaird to the clan. Last, I give MVP to the player who does the best and donating is part of that and My co might donate to just clan when a elder donates more but, half of it is not shown.

My clan has a rule to donate 1 troop for every 2 received. This would screw up our system as only the high level people donate so we are more likely to win. To me this wouldn't be fair to the lower members. Also the higher members already get recognition.
Wait, if the troops aren't counted to receives, I am fine with this idea. It isn't that person's actual base anyway.

People spend elixir on donating, so their contribution should be recorded and noted!
no I think that the donator should not be given exp for donating troops. with the new Dismiss feature for clan war castles people just could train a bunch of archers and donate an unlimited amount for unlimited exp.

Supercell was correct in not letting war base donations count towards overall donations.
The reason is that people will abuse this and start donating giants to clan war bases, and you won't even know who donated them because Supercell will never show you who donated what.
Everyone wants their "friend in need" achievement if they don't already have it, so lowbies will donate their crappy troops to clan war bases. You want the best, strongest troops in clan war bases, so you want upper levels to donate only.

I don't care as far as donations go. We want the higher levels to donate to the smaller bases as to be harder to 3 star. I would like to see my donations just for kicks.
For the last 3 clan wars i have given everyone in the war a lvl 4 dragon. I would like it if that would count to my overall donation count.
