Town hall outside your base seems like a good compromise. It may not be perfect but it's certainly going to solve most of the issues you are having. Notice I said most. Not all.

I agree it certainly helps a farmer because there is a good amount of people who will snipe it. But it doesn't help trophy pushers at all. For instance a lot of trophy pushers use anti-hog bases. Well this type of base is near useless for that when your traps and bombs are down because traps and bombs are crucial for stopping the hogs.

I suppose buying a shield before you go to sleep is a option for either case but a cruddy one at that in my opinion.

Losing 300 k resources is a lot to you? There are people who lose 900 k or 3mil resources in one battle. I myself sit on 2mil gold and 1 mil elixir. Placing your th in the outskirts does help you out. The cost to create troops compared to the amount you lose in battle is greater than if you just hit their th with a few archers and go on to the next base.

But ut let me make this perfectly clear, supercell wont change the way this game runs just because you're mad about losing your resources. Everyone loses resources in this game. It's the way it works.

but to limit how much you lose, placing your th on the outskirts of your base helps with that. Otherwise keep your th where it is and keep losing resources 300 k at a time. Choice is yours my friend. Supercell doesn't care either way.

Do you not even read what I post? Try reading what I post before typing a post. I said 300k of each AVAILABLE that equates to 600k stolen. If you can do simple math you would realize in order to lose 300k of each you would have to have 1.5mill gold and elixir in your storage. Unless you aren't emptying your pumps. Once again I know what a farming base is and what putting your town hall on the outside does. At higher town hall lvls though if you have maxed out storages people are more likely to go for your resources than your town hall because they aren't stupid. You saying you sit on 3mill gold and 1mill elixir is not losing 4mill. Do you not realize you only lose 20% of what is in your storage? The amount you sit on is different than available. The biggest raid ever was like 2.05 mill and that is because his opponent had his pumps and collectors full (which you can steal 50% from). Did you also not read the trophy push part? Yeah I'm sure you have 0 clue as to what a trophy push is. I'm done arguing with you as you seem to know almost nothing about this game and the mechanics of it. Try getting a little higher in town hall levels and learn a little more before talking about things you know nothing about.

I just looked you up you are th7 lvl 50. Your base doesn't even have compartments. Just two easy layers (one of the worst base designs). Just wait until you get to town hall 8 and up where people actually know how to attack.

You guys act like I don't know what a farming base is. A farming base doesn't stop a guy with maxed out hogs coming in and wiping your whole base. You have to get lucky enough to have someone snipe your town hall. And when you are sitting on 400k elixir and gold available and 1k+ dark elixir available you are more likely to have someone come wipe your base than someone snipe your town hall. I'm done here.

I've had both storages near max while waiting for builders to finish so I could start next upgrade. I would usually get attacked twice each night (one who would steal 300+k and one who would snipe). There are so many snipers out there looking for easy trophies. I bet if you would move your Town Hall to a corner and make it look pretty (put flowers and stuff around it so people know there are no hidden teslas) you would get sniped and not get slammed by 4 attacks. Plus on a side note if you are trophy pushing why do you care about losing loot? At some point in this game you have to pick one or the other (loot or trophies).

I'm done here because supercell already ruled this out as I have found out. But YOU should really stop posting on topics when you have no clue what you are talking about. You don't even know what a trophy push is. It makes you look incompetent and you bring no valid arguments to the table when you don't even understand simple game mechanics or terms such as farming base. Farming base is where your town hall is on the outside btw. I'm done here kiddo. Look me up from my signature if you think you know more than me.
