I know some of you won't care about Boom Beach, but I thought this would be funny to share with anyone that may think they are frustrated with the loot in CoC, or some other function that SC hasn't been doing well with. Recent changes to Boom Beach's matchmaking system and a "bounty" on the top rated person has created a horrible situation where people can get "revenged" up to 22 times a day by the same person (BB has no revenge, but you "revenge forward" with the ability to scout a new base, plan your army and at your leisure attack them... revenge forward because they have NO way of revenging you back, none.)

Anyway, if you aren't totally bored yet, in BB if your home base is destroyed, it is an auto loss.. 100% and you lose all loot, and there is never ever a shield. You can get raided 30 times in an hour and get beat each time.

Anyway: because of this situation that SC drags their feet on, this is the number 1 player int he world in BB's base right now:

I played BB for a while, even made a fake Canadian iTunes account to download the Beta.

After a while I got so bored and frustrated.
I think the game sucks big time in many ways.

I'd rather play HayDay (which I hate, lol)

Only good thing that came out of it was the fake canadian iTunes Account, that I now play a Mini TH7 COC Account on .g.

Thats a shame. I played BB before the global launch but found myself at a point in the game where the bases were too hard to attack and the people attacking me obviously spent a lot of money to be able to have such large amounts of troops on my base. I was kind of unable to progress so stopped playing it.

Yeah I got up to HQ12 and got turned off by the fact that you just get robbed over and over because the "revenge forward" way that they match you up. If you have never played I will break it down in CoC terms:

Imagine this is how matchmaking worked. You got a list of people you could attack, and you can visit their base any time you want. So if they have a base set up for anti-hogs... you could go with GoWiPe, or balloonion. If their base is set up for anti air... you could just make hogs... in essence JUST like you were revenging them... but here is the catch: You can attack them INFINITELY (sounds a lot like that thing that everyone is upset about in clan wars... you know the thing with the aircraft and Casper... Boom Beach has it BUILT IN to the way the game works!). So if you fail, you rebuild your army to your liking, and go back, and repeat, and repeat until you beat them!

you lose nothing but the gold for making the army. Oh and they CANNOT revenge you!!

Personally I also found the bases totally uninteresting, no walls...

Attacking ? All troops are just dumped at the beach and off they go . You can direct them a little bit with flares but that's about it.
Just take the Townhall down by shooting at it with riflemen for like 15 minutes (it feels boring like that) and every other building goes down as well and the battle is won.

So glad I deleted it, lol.

Some people might like it, but I just want to play COC.

My exact same thoughts on BB.

But I can't say much about attacking since I played for approximately one week and I assume later in the game there is more strategy involved than dumping all troops on the beach and shooting some flares?

There really is no concept of "base" or "village", just a big area with buildings scattered around. And maybe it's just me but I hated those ugly holes the buildings made on the island ground lol.
