Farming elimination idea

I keep getting attacked by players that are way better than me and are able to get insanely large amounts of golf and elixir because they put their town halls in the corner and have fewer trophies than they should. For example I just got raided by a level 108 with a level 9 town hall and they had nearly everything maxed out and I am at level 85 with a level 8 town hall without everything maxed. He was able to loot 273000 of each and 1000 dark elixir and easily defeated me. I believe that this is tremendously unfair and in a new update the Town Hall should have to be surrounded by at least a single layer of walls.

But, isn't that what we're all doing really? Looking for vulnerable villages, preferably only one townhall level
below our own, so the loot reduction isn't too large..

If a TH9 player was able to get so much loot from your TH8, that basically means two things. You must have
had a tremendous amount of unspent resources, which makes you a hot target, and it also could mean that you
went to fast to your current townhall level. If you step into the TH8 world, you're opening yourself up for
attacks from advanced TH9 players that have little loot reduction on your village. If you went there, for example,
without even finishing your TH7 defensive upgrades, then yea, you're kinda vulnerable.

Well I would agree with you if the game were not based on trophies. I am working to max everything with my TH8 right now however, I can't possibly save up 2.5 million for all my archer towers (which are level 9 and I'm trying to get them to the maxed 10) if people keep getting 300k from me like someone looted from me today. Again this guy was insanely good but just had low trophies because he farms. It is not fair to loot that much from someone if the person doesn't have a chance against you.

If you can't beat me, join em. People will snipe your TH giving you a shield, while you can pile up resources to upgrade walls and defense

It is fair, it's the reason why people should max out bases.

You should be doing the same to a rich TH7 base. When you get to TH9, you should be doing the same to a TH8 base. It's how the game works and there's nothing wrong with it. What comes around goes around.

Such a cry baby. Wahhhh, wahhhh, the big bad th9 man took my resources, wahhhh, wahhhh. Well go down in trophies. Place your th on the outskirts, Or upgrade your base right. Don't rush your th upgrades, finish ALL other upgrades you can BEFORE upgrading your th to the next level. Also, change your base configuration constantly. Find a design that works and keep that. It isn't rocket science. If your base gets slaughter, change its layout. But stop with the cry baby stuff. It's embarrassing.

Honestly, if there more attack-based upgrades to do, people would be more inclined to climb to the higher leagues because raiding more powerfully would be easier. The progression through Gold and Crystal would be much more natural.
