Im currently playing over 3800+ trophy range. Today i made it to 3900 however whenever i turn off the game or mostly forced kick im being a target for 3500+ 3600+ or 3700+ lvl players. However i have lots of players in my clan who are lucky enough to get attacked by 4k+ or a few hundred cup above them. I really hardly remember being attacked by a 4k+. Only 3-4 times as far as i remember. Whenever i turn off the game i know i ll be attacked by some low trophy player who will earn at least +14 for each star. Thats at least! 14 cup score means 2 or 3 hrs of game play in a standart day. Is matchmaking related about gemming amount of players? or 4k+ do not prefer to attack my base cos they find it risky?(i really doubt), or should i jailbreak my device? I hear alot of rumors about that if you spend better money you will get the most efficient way of making it over top places. I m not asking this because im angry or so. I really gotta learn this so i will either try push more or not. Im spending money and energy on this.

I think gems are essential to get above 3800. Zach says it's horrible up there, that's all I know. Without gemming,you need EXTREME luck.
Maybe you can only be the top if you gem, but...
Gemms give you an advantage in the game.
Do you think you will make it to the top with a "handicap"? I'm never trying, I can't get past 2250.

It's just luck of the draw on who finds you first. There's a lot more players below you looking for bases to attack than above you at that trophy range. It has nothing to do with gems or anything else...

Jailbreaking your device and using the programs on Clash is a nice way to get banned especially if you say it on the forums. From my experience in the Top200 you're gonna want to gem troops and spells(could just boost racks) you need to try to get 30+ every 6 hour log in, or atleast 20+).

I would think that you need to gem to get decently above 3800 because you're entering top player territory where they have 4,000+ trophies and lots of powerful th9s and mostly th10s. It seems like a hard world up there, and everyone knows for a fact that the people in the tippity top positions do in fact gem....A LOT! So, I don't think you could beat a forest fire with a lighter, if you don't gem and they gem a lot, it only makes sense that its hard to maintain a position there.

It's possible without a lot of gems though. Hadengie from ITD made 4k with just boosts. You sit around staring at clouds for ages and by the time a base comes up that is worth attacking your troops are ready when you get back. Spells can be an issue though...

What I did was boost racks and gem spells instantly. I also used my own version of a common base but I made it strong where the old one was weak which actually cause a lot of people to mess up on my base. I went up about 40-60 trophies per 6 hours at 3700+.

yeah, those rage spells and freeze spells aren't a joke up there, I've seen some messy replays.
I wouldn't know from experience though, but I've searched around and gained a fair share of knowledge about the top spots and being at that many trophies. I'm th7 and the highest I made it to was 2020 trophies, and that was kinda tough right there, but I've seen younger ths higher than me who did mostly th snipes. At th8 I plan to get much higher, atleast Master's League.

No bro i didnt say i d use it but you know its a well known fact majority of high range trophy players have jailbreak on their devices. Some players in top places move out their TH and defenses off the center just to avoid sandbox attacks. Thats smart what can i say. Im gemming even clan castle. The thing i wanna answer was if the rumors are true. Is it about that?
