    Thumbs Up All those commercials

Around Christmas time every other commercial was for Clash of Clans. I just had to find out what was up with *those little bomb guys*. After a rough start (Internet out for the entire duration of the free shield they give you when you start) I was hooked.

It was a boring night at some bar, a friend who'd been playing for a couple weeks brought it up and convinced me to give it a go. This was in late November/early December 2013. Now we have our clan with great people and we're kicking everyone's asses.

Everyone around me had it, and I kind of refused to cave in and play what everyone else was playing. Turns out my willpower wasn't as strong as I thought. Can't say I'm unhappy I downloaded it though.

A friend at school told me to get it and he showed me the ropes and stuff, but I learned more about the game than him just to get better than him, lol. It's kinda funny how when I was about....th4, I just decided that I would continue to play the game as I liked the aspects and mechanics to the game, like how it tested your patience and all that good stuff, I just wanted to be better than him, and thats what made me so hooked on playing. I kept playing and I got really deep into the game, then I got on the forums, and yeah.....now I really just play Clash and it all started there.

Believe it or not, I was in bed one night and bored and I start randomly downloading games that I thought looked cool.

I used to play what I call "build up" games and thought Clash looked like something I could enjoy that night.

Who would have known that it would turn into a crazy addiction and I've been playing for a little over 5 months now and spent $100 on gems lol.

I downloaded 6 other games that night, and have played none of them other than Clash.

I've been enjoying myself until Clan Wars, but loot dried up so been struggling to stay on as much anymore. Hoping things will pick up again because I love to play.

Like someone else mentioned, being able to crack someone's base is very rewarding and hitting a big base for 4-500k sometimes feels too good.

Until Clash the only game I'd ever played more than once on my phone was Angry Birds, which I haven't played in a year probably.
