Orz, which is the best defending base out of all of your bases, I'm having a hard time deciding .

Tempest or Nexus Core for defences IMO.

How are your defence levels looking? If they aren't too high I still recommend Shuriken :P

my brother used this base
lost to a barch army with few wbs, 2 rage 1 heal [lv5 barb lv5 arch!]
2 gold storage and de lost.
attacked from 7 o'clock

Hmm What does his base levels look like? CC troops?

Got 3 real attacks within two days, where two attacks completely wiped me out. Will be trying another base, maybe the Shuriken.

Defences that were down: 1 Mortar, 2 Cannons. During all attacks CC troops (6 Wiz5 and 1 Archer5) were present, except for the last attack where the CC housed 1 Barb5, 2 Wiz 5 and 2 Valkyrie1.

In VINHbui's attack, resources looted were:
Gold: 10,586/115,676 (9.15%)
Elixer: 180,318/296,707 (60.77%)
DE: 2/959 (negligible)

Dominion is designed for higher end TH8, give Shuriken a shot

After sharing my tempest experiences (still holding up well in CW!) I wanted to try this base....

First results were very promising......i've hardy had attacks (3 serious tries over past 5 days)
I thought a hard to lure CC was more important than central DE, so I switched them)


* first attack by a th9/lvl5 troops (55 arch, 12 giants, 4wb, 2 healers, AQ) : 25% and hardly stole resources
* second th9/lvl5 troops 40 barbs, 60 arch, 16 hogs!, 40 gobs, 2 healspells : 49% (attacked from east, but failed to completely lure my cc, so bye bye hogs)
* third : early th8/llvl4 troops: (94 arch lvl5, 12 giant , 8 wb, 30 barbs, bbk and 1 heal spell) : 38 % (attack from W/SW) but they stole all of my DE ...... i had full CC (arch 5/6) and only 1 cannon upgrading at that side of my base

gonna try now with central DE storage since the last attack was too easy....


I've seen some other comments about attacks w BARCH & giants.....I'd like to know if they had central DE storage.....

Haha yeah its very debatable, try central DE, IMO it worked better for me

I like ur bases alot an presently using Tempest
I only wanted to ask u one thing why u havent developed a War Base for TH8
I hope it will work fine if u build a base for war waiting for ur reply

I did have a war base in testing, but i scrapped it See how things go i might not make one.

Hi Orz, I made some changes. I love your work on Shuriken btw. I am using Dominion var 1 I believe. I took some walls from the corners and pushed back in a few storages to have enough walls to enclose all the defensive structures; namely the AT and cannon that were exposed. I mostly havee inside mortars except the one close to the TH.

I'm farming around silver two to gold three and I've been doing well! I never lose more than one storage. Only to a full on TH9 attack. So yeah check out my changes! Great base so far!

Just finished my lvl 8 walls the other day, finishing lvl 6 teslas now and lvl 6 air def. Everyone in my clan agrees scariest base they have seen.

I switched to this base 3 days ago for my farming base. I've only had 2 real attacks. Both BARCH attacks with max troops. Both attacked from the left. They got 1 storage each. 39% the best anyone has gotten and no one has made it to my DE yet. All defenses maxed and CC full of lvl5 wizards. Most just snipe and move on. Great design, keep up the good work.

yes i would recommend you get 3 storages for each. at th9 you will need 4 or somethings like archers cant be upgraded
