Way to stop people from requesting more than the give!

So, I know u all r tired of clan members coming and asking for troops all the time, and never giving anything back right? Well I've got a solution!
Where the trophy limit and the clan status (anyone can join, invite only, etc.) are, there's a donation ratio. This will keep people from requesting more than they donate depending on what the ratio is. Say u set it at 1:2 ...then people have to donate at least half of what they receive. If u set it at 1:1 then people can't request more than they donate. This will also come in handy as it may stop the hopper problem. If someone is a hopper and joins a clan that has a ratio of 1:1, they'll have to donate before they can request! Feedback is appreciated thanks for reading.

But this way u wouldn't have to. All u have to do is set the ratio and it's good. If u stop donating people r just gonna go hop to another clan

There's no way to control who donates and who receives the donations.
donations are exactly that. Donations and you shouldn't be mad at people who don't donate compared to the ones that do. Most of the time, specially in clans, people want the most powerful troops possible, and not everyone is able to donate those troops, and are ridiculed for donating weaker troops. Which in turn, encourages them not to donate.

there is always two sides to ever coin.

Well if it's a clan full of high lvl people then there really shouldn't be inexperienced players there. On the other hand, if it's a clan full of weak people, the higher lvl people can just deal with it or leave. The ratio isn't supposed to determine how much is donated, just to make sure that troops r donated

The policy in my clan is that if somebody joins and requests troops before saying anything else, we just boot them immediately. That alone is enough to get rid of most of the hoppers.

How to stop them from only receiving and not following clan rules: kick them. If they're not obeying rules, they obviously don't want to be in your clan all that bad.

But all of these things you're saying involve the process of they have to follow the clan rules and u just have to deal with it if they don't. This way they HAVE to follow them. And this isn't just hoppers guys. Even elders or coleaders who have been there for months and have a sort of security knowing they won't get kicked. Those people sometimes stop donating as well. This will solve all problems associated to donating.

This topic has come up several times in my clan. What we've decided is that as long as the player blows the min donations out of the water, ratio doesn't matter. When players request, that means others can donate, and donations & clan activity overall go up.

Exceptions for obvious leeches. Warn once, then boot and fast.

    would mess up my clan

In my clan our top people only donate and if this happens it would terribly mess my clan up.
