I've thought about this too. I think the public/private setting should be the determining factor whether this option should exist or not. In a public clan it's the responsibility of clan leaders to maintain activity of its members. It is more likely in a public clan that the members are unrelated and can't contact each other outside the game, so to coordinate who will be available for war (say participation is at the discretion of the members via a button) would be near impossible (scheduling and time zones and all). If it's at the discretion of the leaders some members would be intentionally left out. But with a clan set to private, there's probably more communication between members. In that case (a private clan i.e. invite only)this feature would be awesome! It would allow a clan to be way mor efficient. But that brings up the question of whether public clans should even battle public ones. Ultimately because private clans would have the potential to put their best war inclined players first, putting them at greater advantage. Thoughts?
