No no no you guys don't get it the purpose of this thread the purpose is to have YOU to debate with other people!
Also why do you suddenly talk about changing my trophy range this was not made for me to complain about loot duh. I have absolutely no problems with loot at all! Do you people even read the text? Do you know the time I spent into making this and you guys are just thinking this as a common complaint thread? Wow...

Before the loot system change, General was filled with people complaining about loot. After the change, it's filled with people complaining about loot.

Whatever is done, people will still have trouble playing the game and complain about it. "Upgrades are too expensive", "I can't hold onto my loot", "I have to next too much".... Always the same, before and after any change.

People should take the suggestions that are made and improve their gameplay. Make adjustments as needed to advance their bases.

But I guess a public forum will always be like this.

And before you say, "of course, your TH10"... I have two accounts(each on different devices). My second was TH7 when this change was made and is now an early TH9. They have both had to adjust trophy ranges and tactics a bit, but are having little trouble advancing. I'm not bragging or trying to be dismissive, just explaining that I do have varied experience with the "problem".

I am sick of loot threads too but honestly this is something new and is way better than those complaining threads, don't you think?

You guys need to stop talking about loot. The loot is out there. It's finding it that’s the issue.

I got to the office early this morning, awesome, no one is around I'll do a quick raid.

20 minutes later and 100,00 gold lost to nexting and I finally find a base I can raid. This isn't a base I would normally raid, it's a TH9 with XB's pointed to ground, but it offers 300,000 of each and some Dark. People are starting to arrive, I’m out of time, it's now or give it up.

I go for it. I spread out my BARCH army trying to focus on where the collectors are at first. I head for the storage that's close to the edge and hit it with some Barbs and then 4 WB's. They make it and make a hole, I rush in with barbs and archers and take it down. All the while trying to keep that stupid BK and AQ distracted and on the other side of the field.

Needless to say, I lost that one, -23 trophies. Not upset about that.
I got 201,000 gold, 126,000 elx and 180 dark.
Was it fun and exciting, you bet! But then you get this:

In the end, used over 20 minutes of time, gained about 100,000 gold and maybe 100,000 and 180 dark.
Got back, couldn't even build a wall, my walls are 200,000 each.

What do you think, was the issue the loot or the fact that I wasn't able to find a good raid?

The search system is useless and random, no good for any of us.

Exactly my point, you pay more for the same random searches and your upgrades only go up in cost. I don’t know how people do it.

I guess I just don’t have the time to be able to play this game, it’s to time demanding.

It is pointless debating loot with other people who: i) have a laughably low GG, and ii) are not TH9 or TH10. Then it's just trolls who don't know about loot.

Btw, a lot of high cup champion-league players complain about the cloud problem. Maybe all of them should debate against cloud problem deniers who have never been in champion league.

Seems a bit pointless.

Everyone has a different perception of what is good loot. Everyone wants to play in different style. Matchmaking is random, so there are natural peaks and troughs, so a comparison of two players experience is like comparing apples and oranges.

I don't think anything will be achieved here. The arguments will go on.
