Dark Elixir Upgrade for Non DE Troops

I thought it would be a cool idea if you had the option to use dark elixir to buff up your regular barrack troops. You could use DE to upgrade regular troops in the research lab (once max level regular upgrades have been achieved for that character). When you build them they cost x amount of regular elixir and a small amount of DE to make. You could release the upgrade in tiers (like the troop system). I think it would be cool to see dark barbs, archers, and gobies by maybe Halloween? Anyway, thought I'd share the idea. Thanks for looking

Have a "dark lab" for these upgrades? maybe the normal dark troops can go in there as well and dark spells since I think I saw that on the considered list.
