Going random overkill on people is just fun. Yes, it may be ridiculously illogical but CoC doesn't always have to make sense from a resource point of view. I quite often go massive overkill on bases just cause I think the design is stupid or can't stand their gamer/clan name. It's fun. Nothing like destroying a premmie base with clan name "BaconLovers" in less than 90 seconds to make a person feel big

I've also used L6 troops, my L3 pekka, heroes and 5 L2 witches on a TH6 who was trophy pushing. I did this just for funsies and to knock him/her for -59 trophies. At least they would have had a fun replay to show their clan about the idiot who did the overkill.

... still fun though.

maybe he did not need DE case he had all his heroes and laboratory maxed like me

Haha, yeah I figured that much. Just don't see the point. So he proved you can overrun a lower hall with an OP/expensive/inefficient army? Big deal, anyone can do that.

I know I can do nothing about it and know the attacker just wasted a tonne of resourse for a rage raid.

The way I see it, not only did I win the original raid, I won the revenge as well as the attacker lost even more than I did.

Someone used GOWIPE on me (when I was a new and fairly premmie TH 9)...and still lost. Might've worked out better for them if they knew how to lure

And honestly, overkilling someone for a revenge is nonsensical IMO. I want to get revenge, not give them a good laugh at how much I wasted annihilating their base
