I'd suggest not to worry much yet about th5-6-7 defense since its still easy to 3 star any layout with level 5 troops. What's important, defense wise, is to upgrade defense unit so at least these owners get a bit of a fighhting chance.

Sorry ped, i had to disagree for th lvl 7. Yes, they can defend well with good defense building and walls against troops lvl 5

I've read a lot of comments to not rush to TH9, why not rush it?
I currectly have TH8, with mortier LV6, wizards LV4, canons LV10 and archers LV7.
I want the x-bow, because I have a hard time attacking againts it.

You don't rush it because at TH level 9 you will face resource penalties unless you attack level 8 or 9 town halls
Although your defences are quite well upgraded, though I suggest upgrading your archer towers

What is a good base layout for farming? I have always been toppled using many different variations of bases. What would be a good TH 8 setup? Im sorry if this is the wrong thread to post this I wasnt to sure where?

I would suggest that you read back through this thread, you'll find a few good designs that way

Not with skilled attackers. Even the maxed th7 base can be 3 starred by Wbs barbs archer and gobs.

Basically if you rush it, you'll find yourself running short on resources most of the time for upgrades, unless you maxed all your pumps.

The idea is to put your banks in the most inner, surround with walls and defenses and put your TH unprotected (where you think your base is most vulnerable)

Your archers are way to low for you to go to TH9. But go ahead. I need somebody who I can max loot because they want the thing that goes pew, pew, pew.

Sorry new to the forum thing...is there a way to upload an image straight from an iPad screen shot or does it have to be from a computer...I'll gladly post my base designs but just haven't figured out how yet
