[Screenshot] Base Designs Contest

How do you post pics here? I did a rip off of subtletea's base but I'm on TH 8 so there are a few minor adjustments on the walls. I still have long ways to go before I can compete with you guys base-wise but I would appreciate any comments. If only I can post my base here.....

What clan are you in? I'd like to see the changes you made ^^ I'll be TH8 by the end of the month and was trying to figure out a way to make this design work for TH8. I haven't once been 3-starred and since the resources are not all in one place they never make off with everything even if they are TH8 or 9 (better to lose some than all is the way I see it). I've made a lot of improvements and it gets stronger and stronger with each upgrade to def. Still don't have a lot of experience at the higher end, so I'm thinking of going another route since it likely won't hold up :/

Im on PH Pirates....same name. The design seems to be working well. Even with the TH exposed last time I was 2 starred was 8 days ago but he's at level 71 and he used 3 spells and 4 pekka's on me
That or HB or any of the other guys here hasn't spotted my base yet

I don't think we need to post my base again, since the changes aren't anything drastic. However, it might be useful to have yours up here for those ppl interested in copying the design for TH8. I got some ideas from your base. Something you might want to consider is finding a way to work your Clan Castle into the middle of the design. Since the update that allowed troops to jump walls, the CC in the middle is insanely powerful and key to defense. Most experience TH8 and 9 players that attack me end up spending at least a full minute working them out of the perimeter of my base, taking them out, and then going in for a full attack. But they get hurt in the process and always end up emptying their whole army on me, plus CC, plus spells...just to get a little over a 100k. I will admit to getting stomped from time to time, but I'm only TH7, so that's to be expected ^^ But again, haven't once been 3-starred, so that's got to count for something.

If you do move your CC, let me know how that works out for you.

Here is how I would own you:

Wouldn't an attack from the left or right flank be more effective? Higher lvl people usually have more success attacking me from those directions. I'm not convinced a direct attk with so few units would pull off the effect you are looking for. But I guess it does come down to how you use those units LOL If your goblins did manage to get into the center as you plan, they are getting hit by 2 motars (should be 3...one is upgrading), 2 WTs, all 5 ATs, all 4 cannons, and if my guess is right, 2 HTs. I'm also guessing a few spring traps will rain on your parade If the max you can steal is 180, I guess I can see you getting away with two-thirds of that...maybe.
