TH8 - Starting to lose interest?

Hi Guys,

Was just wondering if anyone else that has just got to TH8, if you are starting to lose interest in the game a bit.

I'm only a casual player, I log on to the game maybe 5-10 times a day to do an attack and then leave it for an army to cook up again.

But now reaching TH8 I started coming on maybe 2-3 times day because it is just taking a bit to long to build up resources for things that cost over 1.5m each and people being able to attack more resources away then I can steal back.

It's not a rant just wanted to hear if anyone else is feeling the same way.

Really wish I could farm up that cash so quick. What trophy range you think it best for a TH8, most of my troops are lvl 4 and lvl 5 barbs.

1.5 mil/2 hrs?? If you are in the right trophy range and have a bit of luck you can get that in one hour. 1.5hrs of BArching did the trick for me, 3 more level 8 walls done.

I'm starting to get bored, but I'm farming walls and that's all I have left here at TH8...

If saving up 1.5 million for an upgrade as a TH8 is turning you off, you are probably best off to just give it up now.

As a TH10 most upgrades will require about 6 to 7 million and on top of that loot is much more difficult to get.

Sorry you are loosing interest, but this problem of yours is likely only going to get worse. As you go up in TH levels this game requires more and more time and effort to keep progressing.

Your trophy range should be around 1550-1650 and the army comp. is up to you, preferrably BArch (Barbarians and Archers) or BAM (Barbarians, Archers and Minions)

Sorry you are losing interest. Don't be afraid to take a break for as long as you need... maybe permanently if you have no interest in coming back.

I actually think that th 8 is one of the more exciting th's. I believe th < 7 is just a tutorial. At 7 the game picks up and you get a maximum number of barracks. As you get into the higher town hall levels, particularly 9 and 10, to crack bases of similar level to you requires larger troops and more spells, resulting in more down time.

If you are looking to stick with the game and just going through a funk, try mixing it up. Raid with an entirely different composition. Go up in trophies and farm dark elixir.

I was a little bit like that after getting to TH8, but I've been gradually gaining trophies in order to farm DE more which has renewed my interest. Also on days when I haven't any builders finishing I have been pushing, although I keep getting attacked and losing 25-30 trophies, whilst only gaining 10-15 per attack. Do something to mix it up, I've been experimenting with troop combinations to keep it fresh.
