It will now be harder for lower TH levels to make high leagues by sniping. I have seen a lot less THs outside now that clan wars is here.
I don't think people would like to keep switching their base. So now i'm using a hybrid base.
Have you noticed less The outside too?

It has never been easier to shield resources. I've kept 35k DE safe (upgrading BK) for 3 days whilst all of my AD's were upgrading. 15-30 minutes after I log out, without fail, I will get my TH sniped.
People that were used to doing it must be so desperate for trophies now.

I put TH outside all the time. I even put a full collector beside it to thank the TH snippers.
I've (TH7) only been attacked twice (other than TH snippings) in two weeks while having full storages. They are also the reason why people find less loot.
Yeah clan wars really changed(read: ruined) things.
It wouldn't be as bad if you got wT bigger payouts for winning but given it takes. 48 hours it really doesn't pay to CW.
It's sorta fun, but not economically worth it.
TH snipping is the most effiecient and economic way of doing clan wars. I did it once using the king. 0 investment. tons of rewards , even the clan lost the war eventually...
Your clan lost because you and some of your clan mates were wasting their attacks on being greedy by sniping the townhall for the war bonus

Consider yourself lucky, a lot of clans would boot you for this unless you did this in the last few hours of a lopsided clan war
