I focus mostly on the amount of DE available... gold and elixir are just a bonus atm.

Besides loot, I look for different things depending on what army I am using.
Barch style armies: I'm looking for centralized WTs, Xbows and Infernos. Many exposed buildings.
Mass Hog: I'm looking for up xbows and infernos near eachother, so I can freeze them. Not a lot of gaps for traps. Lurable CC.
Balloonion: I'm looking for edge WTs and ADs. Down AQ. Lurable CC. Down Xbows.
Gowiwi: new to this one, but I'm looking for easy lines to the TH.
