Easiest way to Farm Dark Elixer?

You can use ballinions yes, but once you start needing 100k+ de for 1 hero, I would suggest a faster army;

16 giants
12 wallbreakers
4 wizards
rest barb/arch
cc: wizards ( for the harder storages to crack )

It is easier ( can be ) with ballinion, but takes longer to cook, I would say would need a spell or two more to crack some bases, and again, takes longer to cook

Have a mess around I would say and find which army comp you feel more comfortable cracking de storages with

Barrack 1: 1 healer, 3 wbs, 20 barbs, 8 archers and 8 gobs
Barrack 2: 1 healer, 3 wbs and 30 archers
Barrack 3: 7 giants, 3 wbs and 26 gobs
Barrack 4: 7 giants, 3 wbs and 26 gobs

Unboosted: wait time of 4-5 minutes.
Boosted: instant ready for the next raid.

Around gold I to crystal II range. 2,000-2,500 per raid.

i use barbs archers and goblins. I always train lightning spells but i raid whenever camps are full so i dont always have one. First i take out any easy drills then if i think i can make it to the storage i will drop barbs to tank then archers and after they break the walls send in the goblins. I zap every now and then if i see a th 10 with a nice amount but i mainly use the lightning spells on cc troops or if i have 2 or 3 i drop them on a mortar or wizard tower. I saved 40 k up in 3 days this way but i am only a th 8 so it might be harder at th 9.

Not going to say this way doesn't work, as it does, but I found personally I could crack more de storages with the 4 wizards instead of healers.

Just my opinion of course

Maybe make your own healers, and pack some cc wizards..?

Aha interesting thought. I usually request "Unicorns" while farming Don't want to pressure my clan into making specific troops for me, but it is definitely an easier way to push through!

Eh Unicorns are awesome, I would much rather take Unicorns daily than any max troop.
