If you are trying for DE, you are in a good range. Otherwise, I would drop down to gold3/silver 1. I would also recommend trying barch (to conserve elixir)

Go down. Giant based army is best used at Gold leagues.

at townhall 8, i would use BAM or barch. So ~50/50 barbs and archers or 15-20 minions and the rest barbs/archers. minions can help get storages or mines that are within the walls.

Baloonions are really good, they are better than barch up there.

Until you go to 2200 (crystal 2) and up, balloons give little returns. If you hang around crystal 3, most of the time you'd find TH 8s. Using balloons against TH 8 is a waste of time. Better with hogs or BAM.

You won't find anyone with tangible loot in crystal 3 but TH 8. Most TH 7 farm in Gold League. If you do find TH 9 or 10, most probably they're the bankrupt ones. Farming collectors can be done everywhere, it's a matter of luck. What you need is full storages within reach for a few searches.

Hi All.

- TH8
- 1400-1575 (I let it pop up and down as I look for targets of opportunity)
- I normally go with a "2 tier" army where I either collector raid and/or TH snipe with just my Archers/Barbs/Gobs/Mins, or I do a full out assault where I also deploy Giants/WBs/BK. Normal army: 33 barbs (lvl5) / 49 Archers (lvl5) / 12 gobs (lvl5) / 8 minions (lvl2) / 14 giants (lvl5) / 10 Wb (lvl5). Been considering Loons/Minions and uping the trophies but I've never ran it b4.
- 200 space AC
- I'm normally able to locate resources and have been able to score 3+ million gold in a day, but it's been unusually dry over the last few days. Despite "nexting" through lots of bases yesterday and this morning, I didn't find anything over 120k gold that didn't involve high TH9 through TH10 bases. I normally don't consider 120k gold worth deploying the full army for, but after not turning up anything else I started to regret not just taking anything I could get. of course, I kept thinking "it'll start to get better next click".


I need pretty much everything currently - Gold, Elix and DE...
