Was the farming range really lifted that high? One year ago, it was still at 1100-1300. That's a huge difference

Yup
1100-1300 is where th6-th7 hanging around. You will get loot penalty if you attack them
To much next next to find decent th8 at that thropy range

- Extra Info: Just trying to make my Loot Raids more successful. Because I am new TH9, I am trying to mainly raid Gold and DE, to support the upgrades. For the longest time, I did well at TH-8 around 1400 cups, trying to move up to find better loot. Any info is much appreciated.

Forget about gold and de for now, well after you have xbows anyway. everything else you need early on is elix. Camps and giants 6. GiBARCH is awesome with level 6 giants.

When targeting collectors or bases with simple designs I was able to get over 100,000 loot of my choice fairly easily. However I now have costly upgrades to work on and i have noticed the increase in loot demand has exposed my strategy. A well designed base causes me a lot of trouble. Waiting for a good collector raid takes too long.

I am currently trying to get lvl 5 goblins hoping this helps

I always found gold 3 very dry, try 1600-1700. Try BARCH with 80 barbs 100 archers 10 wb. If your main target is th7, and it should be then learn how to recognise the difference between level 4 and 5 mortars. With level 5 BARCH you can core a th7 who has non maxed splash defences. The real trick at th8 though is resource management so keep in mind that you can hold about 1 mill gold before you start looking like a juicy target so manage your resources in such a way that you start your raiding sessions with 1 mill in storages.

imma th9 and have been in several league for this few days and i think 1700-1850 is the best range for me so far.
