During battle day and possibly preparation day, there should be an option to forfeit the battle. This would reward the winner some loot, but not too much. Maybe 10K-30K gold and elixir for the participants and also maybe 10-20 dark elixir. The option to forfeit the battle could be in a corner in the bottom left, and the war would be forfeited after a certain amount of war participants have clicked it, also have a confirmation button after being clicked so it's not accidentally clicked/pressed. That and also the shortening preparation and battle day (I know that has been posted in other threads so I'll leave that there).
