Supercell, please DON'T fix the loot

First of all. I don't consider BAM a DE "heavy" army. I use BAM to farm DE almost exclusively. It's by far the fastest method without boosting.

But I can't see how you can average 1 million gold per hour non boosted in the game today. I never get that much. And I know how to BAM. I never use all my troops. I use to attack 8-10 times per hour. Now it's next, next, next (50-75 times) to find a base that takes all 220 of my troops to grab 200k. I've gone from 2200 down to 1600 and it's consistent ♥♥♥♥ no matter where I go. Basically loot is good for you because all you do is boost. I refuse to boost just to do something as simple as farm gold. I will boost to push, to speed up buildings and heroes, but I will never spend a gem to farm.

So I have completely caved in and joined the storage raid crowd and I build a giant based army and average 600-800k per hour. Which means I have no hope of ever maxing out my walls. Now I basically just play for clan wars.

I think the days of consistently averaging over 1mil gold/hr at TH9 unboosted may be gone for good. Before the Dec loot change, it used to be very possible with BAM (and a high level hero/healer/hog army according to UnitySharp's thread).

Maybe 1mil gold/hr at TH9 unboosted is still possible with high level heroes? Any TH9s with high level heroes care to share their hourly farming rate and tips?

I'm not sure what boosting has to do with it because it's just multiplying time played by 4. If anything I'd think 4 hours unboosted would be more efficient than boosting for 1 hour because I'm wasting a lot of time (x4) re-queing barracks with full camps in between attacks. It's pretty much non-stop raiding with BAM/Boost with attacks about every 4-5 minutes.

It's not that I'm doing anything special, I'm just conveying what I'm doing. I don't sit and next next next until i hit a 200/200 base, I grab the first base that I know I can get 100k+ gold/elixir and they come very fast/frequent.
I hit them, get back to base, requeue barracks and do it again.
When you throw in the win bonus (I try to stay with Crystal III badge) of 21k/21k/50 I usually net a minimum of 120k gold/elixir on 2/3 of the attacks.

Occasionally I get the bonus bases with full collectors, but those are more rare these days so I stick to mostly regular bases.

Don't forget, loot is loot and you don't have to get all of it. I can hit a maxed TH10 sitting on 400k/400k/2500 and pretty easily wipe out 1 and occasionally 2 of his gold/elixir storage pairs. Sure, it's a loss but I make up for it on all the other wins and also snipe any exposed TH's I see to hold trophy's and get a super cheap 21k/21k/50 loot.

I also just remembered on my earlier post that I forgot one little detail. I went shopping for about 30 minutes with my wife in the middle of that boost. (nothing worse than the wife wanting to go to the store right after you boost. lol)
I thought my numbers seemed a little low.

When you next next next for 15-20 minutes you have already lost. No matter what the loot is doing, I never next more than 5-10 times. I take what they give me and come out WAY ahead because of it.
hitting 4 50k bases with a 20k win bonus ea. is way better than nexting for 20 minutes and spending 150k to get 200k.

I actually made a thread in the Clan Wars section asking for some agreement on what the forum should be about and the only response I got was I was complaining about people complaining. Which technically I was, but that wasn't the point of the thread.

I feel we have an ideas and suggestion forum, bugs & problems forum, and we have a stickied feedback thread. So I feel like people have appropriate places to vent. I understand when updates role around these threads spill out into other places.

I had been excited for the Clan Wars forum because I wanted to see talk about strategies, clan management, and experiences. However, half of the threads seem to be whining and complain. Not that its not warranted in some cases, but isn't there a better place for it?


As far as the complaining itself. I work in a job where I have to make decisions for a building. Complaining is a part of anything of that nature. Personal I have been loving clan wars, but some people haven't had good experiences. These people respond the same way they do with a bad loot day. They come here and complain, often they aren't even regulars on the forum. Which is fine, whatever. I just wish it could be restricted to the appropriate places.

It's like anything else, the people who are happy are just happy and the ones that aren't look for a place to go vent. Often when you look at restaurant reviews online there are a lot more negatives than positives.

Regarding Clan Wars - i do quite agree with u. The number of complaints about clan wars are pretty uncalled for. So nowadays i just try my best to ignore those threads and read those that are more "constructive".

Regarding loot - sorry once again, i dont think TH8 can really understand the loot issue. I'm not complaining about loot as a TH10.. Loot is just fine for me. But i can tell u many of my TH10 clannies are finding it hard to keep up with the game without putting in huge amount of time to farm. That of course depends on the definition of "huge amount of time" which differs from players to players (there are lotsa crazy farmers around in this forum). You might get a different perspective about loots altogether when u reach TH10, so its too early for u to tell SC not to fix the loot.
