When I first joined the forums, most of the names that were on the thread weren't on the forums. If you leave, new members will take over and start being the active posters. The thing ive noticed lately is a lot of younger forumers keep making a scene about leaving the forums. I personally think thats one of the reason others leave. Since they believe: if everyone else is leaving, i should be going too. They also see these threads and want to make their own to see how popular it gets. Yet in 2 weeks i still see them posting 3 hours a day. Its a harsh cycle

When i played the game, it got boring so i quit, but after a month i realized that it isnt boring, in fact, its the exact opposite. Now i'm back (not like anyone knows me) and clash is still as great as ever.

Saying the forum is dying because a few people have left is like saying Facebook is dying because a few people left it. Even if those people are major formers, there are thousands of people who participate on this forum. There are nearly 2000 people looking around the CoC forums as i type this.

The real reason why forums are dying its because all the ideas gets thrown away people are just that selfish to ignore an awesome idea and then post theirs that are horrible and some of them are just copying ideas people just go with their threads and the others are gone
23 hours ago I posted a possible help from the leagues and the post got thrown away to a black hole or some of my other ideas

Its no use to post in the forums if your idea is gonna be thrown to a black hole I'm posting to see what people thinks about my ideas and also trying to help or improve the game but if all the time that I spent and all the hard thinking to make the thread and will just get thrown

Matchmaking is the biggest problem.

While "Ghosting" is annoying, everyone has the ability to do it; despite been unsportsman like.

Bad matchups however are competely demoralising. You want to fight a fair opponent, not one with far stronger bases / heroes.

Heroes also need to be re-adjusted to consider whether they are upgrading or not. I'm really tired of getting rated as my clans highest TH9 due to my heroes...even when they are upgrading. It's grossly unfair.

SirColeman, Pikacu221, and Defiant have all quit. Allybug01 and Chupacabra101 are considering quitting. KaiTheBeast0 will take a break, and I will not really move out of forum games until the end of May. Shivampaw is temporarily not allowed in the forums due to reasons we will not discuss here.
THE FORUMS IS DYING!!!
Rather than saving Clash of Clans, like Final Fantasy for Square Enix, Clan Wars has been the time where everybody is LEAVING! Ghosting, the lack of an opt out button, unfair matchups, and disappointment of clan wars have driven all of these players out. They are no longer interested in the forums. With all these flaws, rather than saving the game, clan wars has become a decisive landmark for people who are losing interest in the game to rally around!
Save the forums by choosing which feature you would most like to see implemented in the poll above.

I'm relatively new to the forums.. But I wouldn't really notice if anyone quit.. I guess it's better this way so I don't become sad.. I will say I'd be sad if Chupacabra left, and I am still grieving over SirColeman.. Those are the only 2 I know..

These threads, they kill the forums. How do you think everyone felt when pedro, emperor, and Many others got banned? same thing happened. Now because a few of the common forumers are leaving, doesn't mean the forums is dying. New people will fill their shoes.

AMEN! Although we still miss those who have left us, it doesn't mean we can't make new besties on the forums
