TH 9 really did take another hit with the last update, though, and I do pity any premature upgraders. Loot penalties aren't advertised, outside of here and the wiki, so people get misled into rushing, even gemming, to TH 9. It is sad and a little unfair, but for those who do know about all this, there is no one to blame.

I upgrade to Town Hall lvl 9 in only lvl 48... Stupid idé but i can't wait... Im now in lvl 73 and know are there people in lvl 89 and 86 there attack my and this is not fair
It doesn't hurt, but one expects the rules to come with the game.
I just upgraded to TH lvl 9 4 days ago. LVL 73 all LVL 7 and 8 walls. Mostly maxed defenses. Its totally worth upgrading.
People just complain becuase TH 7's with maxed out collectors, getting 400k with 40-50 archers aren't available and you have to use real skill to collect resources....I like it because its harder!
It just weeds out the posers.
The idea of the game is you can progress at your own pace.
My friend is upgrading to TH9 and he isn't ready for it! He's gonna hate the game once he upgrades. I tried telling him.
