Right, lets get this thread back on track.

TH9 has the most expensive upgrades, eye wateringly expensive walls and have the biggest problems with resource collecting.

This has been the way of things for some time. Instead of easing things a little, the last update decided to turn the screw even more. We have wall breakers that require you to clear out half a (well designed) base to make them target the wall you want, and the introduction of a further penalty for raiding TH8's and the associated bonus the other way around.

Personally I can keep all builders busy and upgrade walls at the same time, but I play the game too much. Personal statements from idiots like me are useless and short sighted, the wider trend for those not investing too much time and money into the game is loss of interest and inactivity.

I imagine I am pissing against the wind yet again until I am proven correct.

    - True that. Upgrades just keep getting more expensive at every game update.

    - True that. The new penalties for th8 rocks, while it sucks for th9.... Since I am going th9.. It's gonna ♥♥♥♥ me a bitty bit.

    - The new wall breaker AI works good if used correctly, but I hated because I didn't use less wall breakers, as old days, 8 per attack, which now takes 16 camping space. The new 'smarter' AI costed me 8 camping capacity.

I imagine I am pissing against the wind yet again until I am proven correct.

-I'll have to agree with you here. Since now I am looking at the game from a TH9 P.O.V

I feel bad for all premature TH 9's. I try to warn as many people and some don't listen or realize I was right until after they upgrade. To be honest I feel there should be a fee to lower TH. It will teach people their lesson but keep them from quitting. Premature TH9 is hard to deal with but something too many have to deal with.

the loots sucks next buttom 10-30 times till you find something acceptable to raid but at the same time its a base that you have to spend everything (spells/CC) to raid... dont upgrade it till you r all maxed, myself have some defs max as cannons, mortars lvl 7 walls but isnt enough. Wise advise dont upgrade it

    Your defences are maxed,

every morning you wake up to epic fail after epic fail against your base.
You're the King of the world!

Then your TH upgrade completes, and you're kicked hard on your hiney onto the hard dirt road below.
The first few days/weeks (depending on how fast you farm) following an upgrade is always the worst
    - more so if you are a premmie: the (near maxed) THs below you will kick you for the extra 10-25% and your own will milk you dry.

With the new loot penalties, the situation is definitely going to be more brutal @ TH9,
as the only one you can pick on easily up there w/ no penalties are the premmies.

Just curious, btw, what did Jun's statement have anything to do with his ethnicity,
and what does his ethnicity have anything to do with this?

Sigh, someone asked me to scan this thread. I did.

I'm trying to figure out where the damn voting buttons are. That's my main reaction to this thread.

P.S. On a side note, there is a sad, but rather, obvious aspect to human nature. The people who slugged at some grinding process will think it is important to all others. Perhaps so, but perhaps not so. There are many roads to the end...

There were many players last time I bothered to check with 3,500+ trophies with purple walls. And that was before the various wall nerfs (more flying troops, WB radius damage, etc). Heck, I was 2,750 troph with frilly pink walls. Level 5 barracks (with WBs) is just fine for a sub 2k farmer. Respect different paths, and let's not let spreadsheets drive decency out of these forums.

Lol, it's not stolen xp, it is from donating to my clanmates. Judging by your base I am assuming you have given minimal donations (under 5000), most people with a base like yours are a level90+ even if they are a mediocre donators.

Either way, someone with your base should be enjoying TH9, you have maxed troops, great defenses so no one will touch your resources, and I hope some skill to have farmed all that (unless of course you gemmed it).

    Question

Do people with a good base at TH9 lose a lot of resources?
