but how much would I cost to build/ upgrade and would it be elixir or gold??

I updated first post and added a poll - BE SURE TO VOTE GUYS!

It would be just the same as the Army Camps in costs-

It'll take Elixir to build, upgrade, and train troops - Then, we run into this:

1: If they implement this, It will change donations completely - NO troops in your ARMY CAMP will
be AVAILABLE to DONATE. This will stop the confusion as to which troops you will be donating.

Instead, When donating troops It will ONLY show the troops you have in your army reserves =]

A helpful idea, especially for those that does not use the troops requested by clanmates. I like to practice my baloonion, but when doing this, its troublesome to donate because almost all my clanmates requests for archers, wizards, giants... I dont want to give them the troops they did not request for.

A separate camp to store these 'favorite' troop would be very helpful in the situation.

I like the idea that its an independent training facility with its own camp space and reserve troops trained there are only usable for donations. Its also good if troops just needed to be transferred from the regular camp if the idea of an additional barrack is not feasible.

An issue I can think of is, if you made a mistake training the wrong reserve troop, an ability to dispose of trained troops in the camp should be available. We dont want to anger a fellow clanmate by giving away wallbreakers, dont we?

About the stats of the structure such as hitpoints, building/upgrading cost, etc.. you can also propose it in your OP, but IMO, the idea itself is the most important and anyone can come up with decent stats for the building, or better yet, leave the stats to the pro, the game developers themselves if they want to apply this idea ingame.

I think it should be a building instead of a camp for a couple reasons. If it's a camp, then people in other clans will know what is being held in the clan castles when they fight them in clan wars. A building would only take up 3x3 tiles instead of 5x5. Maybe you could call it like the lounge or the donation house. Love the idea by the way!

wow this is a really great idea. It does solve the problem of if I'm barching, and people want wiz/dragons I don't have to redo my barracks lineup. I can keep those troops in reserve and donate them on request.

    Nifty idea!!

The Army Reserves Camp doesn't have to look like an actual camp, and doesn't have to take up a 5X5 space - However, Making it a building people will get more confused as to if its a barracks and train in the wrong section. A camp, that you can train at, will not get you confused with a regular camp.

also, These troops will not effect clan war because clan war donations are different. these are just regular troop donations. They can build some type of tent/hut where they are kept, so the enemy cannot see the troops too.

However - I appreciate the input - I've added a few more details to the first post in the detail section, Check it out and be sure to vote! =]

I dont entirely agree if troops in the regular army camp is made unavailable for donations. With the clan war feature, I have used an entire camp of wizards within minutes during preparation day. Limiting donatable troops to just 50 housing will impair the efforts to arm WCs by the people in charge of doing it for the whole clan.

There should be minimal confusion even if the troops donated overlapped each other (reserve and regulars) as reserves can be made to be donated first even if there are the same type of troops in the regular army camp.

Edit: Even in the early war day, the more advanced players, who attacks later, prepares camps worth of maxed units such as pekkas, dragons and giants to help those that are supposed to attack first.

It's because of people like you that we are able to improve Ideas!

I will update the first post, With me not being a high level, I don't know what troop costs run at and how quick donations go, So I will edit the max troops to what we can hold in a regular army camp for now!

    *edit*
So, I've edited the first post -

A maxed Army reserves camp will house 200 spaces(following the housing rules for each troop)
