TH9 Sucks

@OP,I think my thoughts have already been covered... TH9 just takes some adjusting. You can't expect the way you farm/play at one TH to work as well for the next level. Of course with the loot system you can't depend on inactive TH 7's anymore, but I suggest trying 1700-1900 range. Has worked for me my 6 months as a TH 9 (which is sadly about to come to an end ) Good luck to you.

barch still works great at TH9. To improve it, you should upgrade your troops from 5 to 6 ASAP to have a stronger barch army.

Of course it is! I even used Barch at th10, but don't expect to win any matches... or even break any walls. It's strictly a "collector farming" approach.

There's no prob TH9 farming with BARCH or BAM farming.. did that with low lvl troops... if u have problem, it's probably u did not master the combo yet. Keep experimenting and add a twist to the combo n u'll see greatness of the combo.

Thanks for the replies, still waiting on lab to finish. Good to know BARCH is still going strong since that is pretty much the only thing I have used since I started playing.

I've calmed a bit down since.

When I got to TH9 i bought both XBows, Lab, and busy getting my new defenses up to scratch.

I moved down to Gold3 and found two collectors over a 2 hour period. I'm climbing back up

Actually barch armies are also being used very effectively to trophy push to masters league as well. You just need to pick the right base to attack (ideally bases with lots of outer buildings pushed away from the walls, and mostly or fully centralized mortars that can't reach outer barch range.

The aim is to get to that magical 50% mark, not to bust through walls or to reach deep storages or the townhall.

lol... me a th8 nearly maxed... I was think of skipping my tesla (lvl4 in few day), king (lvl6 in few hours), valks and golem upgrades ... and push the button

3day old th9. I didn't come into th9 with 6mil, 6mil, 80k like I hoped (real life intervened), but I had enough for the lab, the queen, an xbow, as well as a start the new defenses.

With clan wars and related duties eating up about 1.5mil pink, I thought I might not have enough for my giants to 1.5 days and may need to settle for barbs.

Instead, raiding has been amazing in gold 2. I am up to 4.5mil pink in 24h from nothing. Bought my second xbow. I have enough to upgrade my queen, but I will wait until after today's clan war. Etc.

I have seen zero decline in raiding quality. I didn't raid th7s much anymore, anyway. And the queen helps so much to finish a raid off.

don't you mean gold 2 sucks right now?
